Exploring Materials

The attached PDF sheet contains a number of boxes. It is a useful way for pupils to start thinking about what materials are. In the top two boxes pupils will need to idenify a material and think about what it is made of i.e a pencil - wood and lead. They can then record this on the sheet.

In the bottom two boxes pupils can record materials which are natural and made.
